Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what BugToPrompt collects, why, and how we handle it. It applies to our dashboard and the Chrome extension you use to capture bugs in your applications.

What we collect

Account data (name, email) for authentication; project configuration; and bug artifacts you capture — screenshots, interaction timelines, and transcripts. We never store captured audio: voice is transcribed live and the audio stream is discarded.

How we use it

To operate the Service, render your bug inbox, forward issues to your connected destinations (e.g. GitHub), meter usage, and bill you. We do not sell personal data.

Storage and retention

Artifacts are stored encrypted at rest and retained per your plan, then pruned. Per-project credentials are encrypted with a key-encryption key and never stored in plaintext.

Your rights

You may access, export, or delete your data by contacting us or deleting your projects. Deleting a project cascades to its bugs and artifacts.
